We are looking for Thing Technicians for the Share Bristol Library of Things UWE Bristol Frenchay
As a Thing Technician at Share Bristol, you will: - Test out donated Things before they make it into our catalogue or as they return from being borrowed. Think tents, sewing machines, power drills, saws, popcorn makers. - If you have the experience, you can fix or repair donated things that have been tested and have faults reported. - Make notes of your experience and also anything that doesn’t work, needs repairing or new parts There are multiple weekday shifts available: Tuesday 5pm - 7pm Wednesday 12pm - 2pm Friday 10am - 12pm
Administration,Practical Work & DIY
Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Building & Maintenance, Cleaning & Tidying
Problem solving skills and experience in fixing/repairing items
Free Share Bristol Membership
Shifts are 2 hours long Ideally we would like a minimum 2 hours per month and wouldn't require any more than 2 hours per week
