Bookshop volunteer
Thornbury Lions Club
To serve customers in the ever-popular Lions bookshop
Volunteers man our shop counter for sales, accept and sort donated books and replenish the shelves. You will need to be friendly, out-going and organised and physically capable of moving small boxes of books.

Reading & Writing
You will need basic numeracy to work the till; and basic literacy to sort donated books.
The knowledge that you are part of one of the largest membership service organisations which does whatever is needed to help their local communities.
Ideally, half a day a week - 3 hours (the shop is normally open from 10am - 4pm).
